Ashley Graham is one of the most relatable public figures. As the first plus-size model on Sports Illustrated’s cover, she champions body positivity and keeps it real about motherhood.
A mom to a boy and twins, Graham advocates for mothers’ rights to choose between breastfeeding and formula without societal judgment.
In a recent interview, she candidly discussed pregnancy’s challenges, from body changes to feeding debates. “Stretchmarks, saggy skin, formula, breastfeeding… people telling you how to feed your child,” she shared.
Graham reflected on her experience: “With my first, I thought, ‘I can only breastfeed!’ But with twins, it was overwhelming. I stopped at five months and gave them the best formula I could find. They’re strong and happy.”
She believes mothers should decide what’s best for their families, stating, “We shouldn’t tell people how to feed their kids.”
Graham also opened up about postpartum struggles, including hair loss, acne, and stubborn weight. Her journey to body confidence inspires, as she says, “Being okay with who you are is a journey… I never want to lie.”
